The Dolls have a Slide Night was a wonderful and very strange experience to put together. I learnt that audiences can be trusted to 'get' things, pick up references, find obscure jokes funny and see the essential delicacy and emotion we were trying to convey. I've gained so many lessons which are applicable to art and life. The chance to make something that WE liked - which was both funny and sincere - has been amazing and I am truly grateful to Michael, Jenny, Connor, Mishka, Chris, Chloe, and everybody who was part of its creation, but especially my friend and co-director Mischa.
